Due Cycle 19

2/16/2012

Building Big -  Experiment at home!  Try to see if you can find a better solution to the Paper Bridge Challenge!  Come with your best idea next time.  You do NOT need to complete the questions on the back of the sheet.  If you need another copy, you can find it on Edmodo.

Public Speaking
- Rehearse, rehearse, rehearse! Try first with your full script to put it in your memory and then try again with your notecards to guide you.  Remember, you don't want to "read" to your audience!

Open Research - Put the finishing touches on your projects.  Feel free to share them with me through Edmodo if you'd like a little bit of feedback before you share them. Final projects and presentations are due next week.

Due Cycle 18

2/8/2012

Building Big -  Complete the four-question "Building Big: Domes" worksheet digitally or hand-written, but "turn it in" on Edmodo as well.

Public Speaking
- Finish your draft of your speech.  You might want to think about practicing it as well.

Open Research - Keep working on your projects.  If you have NOT finished your notes, PLEASE finish them by next week to avoid LOTS of stress! Final projects and presentations are due on Cycle 19.

Due Cycle 17

2/6/2012

Building Big - none

Public Speaking - Complete the outline for your speech.  We will review this this week and use them to write the first draft.

Open Research - Keep working on your research.  To stay on pace, you probably want to have your research finished and ready to work on your project this week.
