Due Cycle 11

11/25/2013

EVERYONE:
Complete your reflection chart for Cycle 10. Don't forget to have your parents and teachers add their own reflections!

OPEN RESEARCH:
Finish your projects and put final touches in order to be ready to present on December 6th. Send me a message on Edmodo if you need help or advice!

ARRGH MATEY!:
We will set sail this week! You may want to create some sort of pirate costume. ("Recycled" of course!) This is optional, but encouraged if you want to give your group a better chance of winning the competition.

MAKEY MAKEY:
None, unless you needed to finish some details for your project presentations this week.

Due Cycle 10

EVERYONE:
Complete your reflection chart for Cycle 9. Don't forget to have your parents and teachers add their own reflections!

OPEN RESEARCH:
Follow the suggested schedule in your research packet. How quickly you work though your project is up to you!

Final presentations will be on December 6th.

ARRGH MATEY!:
Construction has begun! You are welcome to bring in more supplies if you feel your boat "needs" something extra.

MAKEY MAKEY:
Finish your schematic for your Makey Makey poster. Also, if your Makey Makey project needs a supply that we don't already have in class feel free to bring it in.

Due Cycle 9

11/1/2013

EVERYONE:
Complete your reflection chart for Cycle 8.

OPEN RESEARCH:
Follow the suggested schedule in your research packet. How quickly you work though your project is up to you!

If you need a permission slip for a Weebly website, you can find the permission slip for your parents to sign here: http://qcsdsi.weebly.com/uploads/8/7/0/3/8703164/parent_consent_to_participate_in_weebly_website_building.pdf

ARRGH MATEY!:
Finish your Mother Goose rhyme with "piratitude." I would also like to see if you can challenge yourself by writing your own pirate nursery rhyme on the back.

Keep looking for boat materials! Construction begins next week!

MAKEY MAKEY:
Create a simple list of 3-5 ideas that you'd like to build with your Makey Makey. We will start designing and diagramming your creations next week!
