First, don't forget to finish your reflections if you didn't get to them today in class. THEN....
That's a Wrap, Gr. 2 and 3 - "Storyboard" 3-5 blocks (or scenes) of a story you might want to turn into a movie. Remember, we were looking to build the story around the Lego tow truck and gas station. Again, a simple sketch with a sentence describing it is all I'm looking for.
That's a Wrap, Gr. 4 and 5 - "Storyboard" 3-5 blocks (or scenes) of a story you might want to turn into a movie. Remember, one group was looking to build the story around the Legos coming to life after a boy or girl leaves the room and the Legos teach about bullying with the traffic light song. The other group is having the dolls knock apart a Lego construction site to teach about bullying. A simple sketch with a sentence describing it is all I'm looking for.
Open Research - If you didn't complete the starred pages in your packet, please do that. Also:
Gr. 4, 5 - Complete the rubric. I will conference with you next week to make sure everything is set.
Gr. 2 - This is your first try with rubrics, so give me your best shot at completing your two Level 3 blocks only! You can try more than that if you'd like, but I want to make sure you are doing ok with writing the Level 3 before you go too far.
All - Feel free to work on your notes once you have finished the items above!
Fractured Fairy Tales - If you didn't need your library book for the fairy tale organizers, you can finish those up. If you needed the books to finish your charts, please wait until next week. Once those are finished, we'll look at some "fractured" fairy tales and then write some of our own!
